view from the clouds
we were ready to leave the Louvre last night when we spied people gathering in one of the galleries - with seating(!).
Our dogs were whining due to the marble floors and twelve hours of pounding the pavement. We determined it was time to SIT. Soon enough we figured out that a contemporary dance troupe was performing in the gallery- in response to the French paintings on view. I love nice surprises - timely, too. We loved it and soon realized that the same dancers were also performing in the Marley Sculpture Couryard below afterwards. The Louvre really is my home away from home.
