why leave?
In a post last year, I said something about Canada geese who have never been to Canada. They're here in Wichita year-round, too.
I think half this flock are illegals because I would watch them fly north in formation every year.... and then the other half were born here and don't have any point of comparison.
A goose and her line of goslings crossing the street are about the only thing that can stop traffic here outside of rush hour...
The bad thing is they are wreaking havoc on the eco system of the parks here. There are so many the rangers are now putting oil on their eggs. Its too bad.
